Eating and drinking.
The majority of the Restaurants and Bars in Terreros offer a wide range of dishes or tapas to tempt most palettes and for the main part are family run, family orientated establishments. You will enjoy the ambience of San Juan's restaurants with their leisurely and laid back approach to eating late into the night and catering for all ages happily. Most are open all year round, so even during the winter months you can take a stroll down to the town and enjoy a freshly prepared dish, in friendly welcoming surroundings at a sensible price.

Our personal favourites are Monte Sol, Meson Pepa and the beach bars which are the perfect place to end day watching the sun go down over the Aguilon Mountains.

Menu of the Day
The "menu del dia" or "menu of the day" is a special lunch served Monday - Friday between 2 - 4 pm that consists of two main courses, a drink (beer, wine, bottled water, coffee), desert and a side of bread. The quality of the "menu del dia" ranges from restaurant to restaurant and so does the price. Normally they range from 7-12 euros, and in general are excellent value for money.

You will often know when a restaurant has a particularly good Menu de Dia as the place will be filled with local spanish people taking advantage of good food and getting out of the midday sun.
